Opportunities to Serve our Church

Are you ready to take the next step and serve the church? Serving is a great way to use your talents to to serve the Lord and help others. It's also a great way to get to know other members and have fun!

Here is a list of various tasks that you can help with:

Greeter
Welcome people to the church on Sunday morning and guide visitors
Contact: Al Sides

Usher
Welcome people to the church, pass out bulletins, and help collect the offering on Sunday morning.
Contact: Al Sides

Small Group Leader
Start a small group to encourage fellowship and growth.
Contact: Hector Pujol, 909-621-6677

Plays, Musicals
Be in a production of SVCC's famous plays and musicals (usually around Christmas and Easter).
Contact: Cheryl Even

Outreach Team
Be “out there” at community events (like Upland's Lemon Festival) and organize services to help others.
Contact: Pamela Hazard

Worship Team and Sound and Visual
If you want to get involved in being on the stage or behind the scenes let us know. Just come to the sound booth following Sunday morning service.

Other ways to serve
If you have other ideas or wish to serve in other ways, please contact Pastor Todd (ptsvcc@msn.com ) to discuss this.

Each activity will have links to supporting materials and photos after the event (can we just create a folder and point a slideshow viewer there?)
